Description
A reinforced stainless steel telescopic whip that extends up to 5.6m to form a resonant 1/4 wave. Basically a poor man’s MFJ-1979!
These can either be used singly as a full size 1/4 wave ground plane antenna (on 20m up to 6m), or two can be used to make a dipole. Being made from stainless steel, it’s high strength, and should stay rust free for life. Do note that the screw thread is M10 and not the usual 3/8-24 thread found on most mounts, so you will either need an adaptor, or at least take this into consideration if home brewing your own.
